I had planned to ride an shoot alot more this past weekend, but after blowing up my cranks and sliding down the starting hill on my hand and right side i decided to just shoot practice and then go out to AC with the girl and check into our Bed and Breakfast early and take the day off. I shot 57 photos. It’s hard to stay motivated when everything hurts and it’s pretty cold out. Here is the gallery.

Questions with Tommy Zula.

February 23rd, 2011

When I first started covering racing for ESPN, Tommy Zula was the first person I did a feature on(see it here) It’s been a couple of years, and he’s stepped himself up quite a bit, he’s been hitting a ton of ABA Races as a Single A Pro working his way up to the Elite class and making a ton of podiums along the way. James Bagwell resignes from the NBL…. Who?

February 16th, 2011

Unless you follow the dramaboard of vintagebmx, you probably won’t know who James Bagwell is. He is one of the guys behind that track in South Carolina that had the NBL’s Dixie nationals last year, and he tried to help save face with the NBL on the message boards. Obviously that didn’t work. He’s stepping down, and with the NBL’s ‘Competition Congress’ this weekend, his shoes will be filled pretty quick. Check the BMXNews Story for more.
