From the google translate I am reading, it looks like they are going to be using the club route(as is pretty much everywhere but the US/Canada) and hosting races. They are also solving the age old problem of what is a “Vet Pro/Master.” There definition of “Vet Pro” is “30+ ex Elite” where as Master is just “30+.” Check otu the Liga BMX Race Official site for more info.

Most BMXer’s probably had no clue what/where Latvia is before Strombergs came out an won the Olympics in 2008. Since then they have built up the BMX program in there country, and are planning to host an international series within their small European country. I contacted the organizers for more infomation as to what the event payout might be but have yet to hear back. More info can be found on BMXGrandPrix.com

The guys over at Fastlane posted a gallery documenting the building of a SX hill in Papendal, Holland. Check it out here.

Aside from the jump on/jump off at stop one in Madrid earlier this year, the Supercross tracks seem kinda… Lame. Big jumps, yeah, but it’s the same shit everytime. Big straight jumps down the first straight, similar jumps down the second strait. 3rd and 4th straight is the tech roller rhythm and then it’s done. Few of the tracks are unique, that’s why it should be pointed out when they are. Above is the jump going into the second turn at the track in France for this weekend(stolen from Pete Dylewski’s twitter.) It’s a sick hip and should cause some action.
