I shot this bike check with Nic Long at the ABA Grands and it got stuck in a back log and wasn’t posted until a couple of weeks ago. Well. In that couple of weeks, disaster struck in Japan, and Nic did the right thing. While he was in New Zealand for the Oceanic Championships, he auctioned off his one off Haro. The auction raised $660 which will be going to the victims of the Earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear meltdown. An awesome gesture by a dude who most people wouldn’t expect it from.
A couple of weeks ago in Reno, Long barely edged out Kyle Bennett on Day 2 in Reno. Here he shows the exact moment his plan went into effect. Check out that tuck.
He may have one of the worst haircuts in BMX, but Derek Betcher picks up his slack over at Haro. racerbmxonline posted this q and a with him regarding what he does around Haro, check it out.
Shot this at the SLC race for ESPN. I want to see racing edits start to get churned out at some sort of a consistent rate like all the other forms of BMX, so I’m stepping up the the plate with it… Hope you like.
Mike Carruth over at BMXNews/BMXNow has posted a little write up as well as image gallery from the races this past weekend in Salt Lake City. I may be stupid, but I was defiantly thinking it would be alot easier to find a nice clean source of water out in the Great Salt Lake…. Watch out for more coverage later this week.
