A handful of Team USA prospects were on hand in the Netherlands this weekend gaining valuable UCI points and racing in the Oceanic Championships. With 4 riders in the main event, the Americans did work, but still not enough to beat the unstoppable Marc Willers who put on a show for the hometown crowd. On the female end of it, Sarah Walker, also a home towner, made her country proud.

Haro announced today that they would be picking Brooke Crain up, and off of the Clayborne roster. As a Visalia, California native, Crain has been immersed in the BMX world since 2002, and is currently a top ranking Junior Elite Women taking home the World number 2 plate this past summer in South Africa.
Haro TM Derek Betcher had this to say about the teams newest acquire “I feel that finishing on the podium is important, but looking good while doing it is equally important, Brooke does both. She’s the perfect fit for Haro and Rockstar Energy.” Be on the look out for Crain in the Haro/Rockstar colors at the ABA’s season opener in Reno next weekend, for more info check out the Haro Bikes blog.
Weeks have been going way to fast. Everything’s slowed down since worlds and nothing notable is happening until the NBL Grands/ABA Reno race at the beginning of September.

Hungover from Xgames action, the USA was up way to god damn early to watch BMX racing this morning. Strombergs took the win. Fields went down hard in Junior Elite while leading the main and blowing up alone. Such a big disappointment as he just sat there knowing that he should have had it. More of an update, and hopefully some photos to come later.

With a doubled up win in Nashvegas. The Saturday evening pro spectacular was rained out, so taking the win on Sunday meant twice the points and twice the money… Josh is on the hunt for the NBL title this year and it is certainly within reach.
