Dutch National Redline Team Invades USA.

Rob Van Den Wildenberg posted this video of the Dutch Redline team training a bit in California and prepping for the Winter Nationals this weekend in Surprise, AZ. They’re going to be a stacked international presence out there, hope the minute men don’t hunt them down.

The Next Sports Performance-Enhancement Fad? Blood Pressure Cuffs

I check out on a regular basis when I have down time at work… this article on performance is definitely worth taking a look at, check it out here, and judge by the excerpt below.

“In a study published this month in the journal Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, a team led by Greg Wells and Andrew Redington at the the University of Toronto‚Äôs Hospital for Sick Children, demonstrated that highly trained swimmers that used a blood pressure cuff to restrict blood flow to their arms a few minutes before maximum-effort time trials improved their performance in a 100-meter race by 0.7 seconds.”
