Following int he footsteps of Jamie Staff, British rider Liam Phillips will be making the switch into the world of velodromes and track bikes. In a statement released by British Cycling, Phillips stated “Over the past few years, I’ve sustained numerous injuries which have left me unable to train on the BMX track for significant periods of time…. Turning to track has meant that I receive a solid block of training with opportunities to compete at a high level which means I’m not missing out on the competition experience.” For more info and the full release check out British Cycling.

Well, a bit of time later, here he is with him own show ready to debut on Spike on May 7th. Check out the story on BMXNews for a bit more details on everything, and be sure to check out the Strange Motion site.
