BMX and training don’t end when your clip shoes come off or you un-rack your last weight.
Tony Hoffman posted an awesome interview getting to see the inside of Marc Willers brain in regards to whats happening with his race life and training. And also askes the million dollar question about getting bumped over turn 2 while leading at the Chula Vista Supercross this past September. Check it out here.
A couple of weeks ago in Reno, Long barely edged out Kyle Bennett on Day 2 in Reno. Here he shows the exact moment his plan went into effect. Check out that tuck.
After years of making everything else, TLD is getting into the grip game with these lock on grips. Some key features are the grooved channels for water/sweat buildup, flanges going higher than the lock rings to protect you from them and undercut pads provide slip comfortable feel with maximum grip, I have no clue what that means.
MSRP is $32.95
Above is the start of Kyle Bennetts track in Texas, stolen off facebook, with an apparent regulation starting hill…
Where does the line between sick trails and a Supercross track get crossed? This is a link to a video of Steven Cisar riding Derek Sipkoi’s back yard track/trails.
If you’re confused looking at that I don’t blame you. Speed has reinvented the Axle. The frame kits ready to go with a special 20mm Frame, Fork and wheel set is set to be on sale for the low price of $1379.99, but don’t worry, they will be throwing in a free stem too!
As of now, only the frames are ready to ship, which means right now you can buy a frame to hang on your wall while waiting for the rest of the parts to come in! (or run it with some janky ass washers and regular wheels) While this might be an advancement inBMX which rarely happens, it won’t take off quick. Sinz are currently the only people producing 20mm axle wheels, which means those $500 Profile/Stealth/Chris King hubs you bought last season can be thrown int he trash. For more info check out the Speed news section but beware of the auto playing story on Dominique Daniels from some random radio show.
